These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Getbaqala services, including our website, our mobile applications, and any websites (or portions thereof) or mobile applications that are operated by Getbaqala (the “Services”), and are entered into by you and GetBaqala Inc, Incorporated in British Virgin Islands

By using the services, you agree to be bound by these terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share information.

Service Overview and Use of the Services

The services comprise a platform that presents you a retailer virtual storefront from which you can select goods for picking, packing and delivery by individual personal shoppers (“Personal Shoppers”) to your location. In some cases, picking, packing or delivery services may be performed by third parties including a retailer or third party logistics provider (collectively, “Third Party Providers”).

When you use the Services to place an order for products, you authorize the purchase and delivery of those products from the Getbaqala partner retailers or from in house stock. Unless otherwise specified, you acknowledge and agree that Getbaqala and the Personal Shopper are acting as your agents in picking, packing and/or delivery of goods purchased by you. You agree that your purchase is being made from the Getbaqala partner retailers or in house stock, that retailer is the merchant of record, and that title to any goods passes to you when purchased at listed price, you agree that Getbaqala will obtain a credit card authorization for your credit card on file with us to cover the cost of the goods you have purchased from the retailer and any separate Getbaqala fees, and your card will be charged for the goods purchased by you and any applicable fees.

You also acknowledge and agree that, except as expressly provided for otherwise in these terms or a separate agreement between you and Getbaqala, Getbaqala does not form any employment or agency relationship with you.

Getbaqala grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Services for their intended purposes subject to your compliance with these Terms and our policies. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services. Unless such restriction is prohibited by law or you have our written permission, you may not reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Services. You may only access the Services through the interfaces that we provide for that purpose (for example, you may not “scrape” the services through automated means or “frame” any part of our Services), and you may not interfere or attempt to disrupt our services.

Some parts of our Services may allow you to upload or submit content (such as text, images, video, recipes, lists, links, and other materials). You retain all rights in any content that you upload or submit, and are solely responsible for that content. You grant Getbaqala a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable, sub-licensable license to use, store, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, and distribute any such content for the purposes of operating, providing, and improving the Services. Getbaqala may, in its sole discretion, remove or take down any content that you upload or submit to the Services for any reason, including violation of these Terms or any other policies.

If you are using Getbaqala on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent and warrant that you have the necessary authority to bind that business or entity to these Terms and that you are agreeing to these Terms on behalf of that business or entity.

GetBaqala reserve all intellectual property rights in all text, programs, products, processes, technology, content and other materials, which appear on this Site. All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to Ampersand Internet Technologies. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of Ampersand Internet Technologies. You may not modify, distribute or re-post anything on this website for any purpose.

In order to use the Services, you may need to create a user account. You agree that your are responsible for all conduct and transactions that take place on or using your account and that you will take precautions to keep your password and other account information secure. Getbaqala reserves the right to decline orders, refuse partial or full delivery, terminate accounts, and/or cancel orders at any time in its sole discretion.

We’re constantly modifying and improving our products. We may introduce new features, change existing features, or remove features from the Services at any time and without notice. If you provide us with any feedback on or comments regarding the Services, you grant Getbaqala the right to use such feedback or comments for any purpose without restriction or payment to you.


Customer have to register and login for placing orders on the App. You have to keep your account and registration details current and correct for communications related to your purchases from the site.

You are the sole authorized User of any account (Account) you create using the Services. Your action of registration constitutes your acceptance of the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, and your state that you are not less than 18 ( Eighteen) years of age. Registration is free of charge. No entitlement exists for admission to the Service. The User is responsible for updating his/her own data that can be amended at any time from the respective interface of the Service. Getbaqala has no responsibility over the use of the User account and expressly disclaims any liability there from. Should you suspect that any unauthorized party might be using your Account, you are obligated for your own security to notify Getbaqala immediately by emailing us at care@getbaqala.com. By providing your mobile phone number to Getbaqala pursuant to the use of the Service, you hereby affirmatively consent to our use of your mobile phone number for contacting you directly in order to perform the Services, including but not limited to occasionally send notifications, text messages with promotional offers, service updates and reach out to you to survey regarding the quality of our services.


Getbaqala Communications

By creating an Getbaqala user account, you agree to accept and receive communications from us , including via  e-mail, text message, calls, and push notifications to the cellular telephone number you provided to us. including but not limited to communications concerning orders placed through your account on the Getbaqala platform.

Variety Limitations and Pricing

The range and prices of products may differ depending on the delivery location and services. Transactions under 5BD through GetBaqala are subject to a delivery charge. You will be informed of such delivery charge at the stage of check-out for a transaction through the Marketplace

The Company aims to ensure that prices of all products offered for sale are true and correct. However, from time to time, the prices of certain products may not be current or may be inaccurate on account of technical issues, typographical errors or incorrect product information provided to the Company by third party seller. In each such case, notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the Company reserves the right to cancel the order without any further liability.

All prices are quoted in Bahraini Dinars. Where goods may be charged by weight (fruit and Vegetables, meat etc.), the basic price per unit applies. The quantity of such goods actually delivered , and therefore the price charged, may differ from the quantity originally ordered. For pre packed and price-labelled fresh products, the applicable price is the one in force when the order is prepared. Getbaqala reserve the right to change prices as to update them at any moment.

Volume Limitations

Customer might be contacted by Getbaqala team to confirm the order to check the quantity ordered or to confirm the location of delivery or in any other cases as may required.

In all cases, Getbaqala reserves the right to limit the delivery quantity for particular products , if needed, not to deliver a particular product at all as per the availability of the Groceries

Cancelling orders and Refund

Customer can cancel any order at any time before dispatching the delivery , In case of requests for order cancellations after dispatch , Getbaqala reserves the right to accept or reject requests for order cancellations for any reason whatsoever , You agree not to dispute the decision made by Getbaqala and accept Getbaqala’s decision regarding the cancellation. If your order is cancelled after your credit/debit card has been charged, the said amount will be reversed back in your credit card account.

There may be certain orders that Getbaqala is unable to accept and must cancel. Getbaqala reserves the right, at Getbaqala’s sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason whatsoever. Some situations that may result in your order being cancelled include, without limitation, non-availability of the product or quantities ordered by you, non- availability of the service in particular location , inaccuracies or errors in pricing information, or problems identified by Getbaqala. Getbaqala may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. Getbaqala will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is cancelled after your credit/debit card has been charged, the said amount will be reversed back in your credit card account.   

Missing items must be reported immediately on reception of the Groceries, otherwise Groceries are considered to have been accepted by User as being in perfect condition. In case you are not available at delivery to check the quality of the product(s), you may raise a complaint within 24-48 hours of delivery. It is mandatory to share the images of the items which you were dissatisfied with. Subject to acceptance from the third-party seller of the product, the Company may take the returned product back and grant credit/coupon in lieu of the value of the returned product. Such credit shall be available for use against a subsequent invoice for transactions on the Marketplace.

If Company suspects any fraudulent transaction by any User or any transaction which defies the terms & conditions of using the Website, the Company at its sole discretion shall cancel such orders. However, the User will be notified in any such case.


Groceries will be delivered directly to the delivery address specified by the User. Deliveries are performed either by the Getbaqala personal delivery service or by a delivery partner, depending on the nature of the goods and the delivery location. Goods will be delivered to the front door of private residences (as far as accessible) and to the reception desk of business Users

Delivery times and adherence to delivery periods

Getbaqala currently offers delivery slots from 10 am to 12 pm for a day . Each delivery slot is of 2 hours each in active service areas.

Again each delivery slots has maximum capacity , if number of orders reaches the maximum limit , then next available slot can be chosen.

Payment methods / creditworthiness

You can choose from the following ways of paying on delivery, depending on the products and the means of dispatch and as per technical availability:


  • Credit card reader on delivery
  • Cash on delivery
  • Online credit card payment
  • We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in BHD (or any other currency).
  • Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Bahrain.
  • If you make a payment for our products or services on our App, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secured connection.
  • The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.


The User can select which payment method is preferred. The payment methods available are displayed for selection when the order is finalized. If for any reasons it is impossible to perform the payment with credit card, Getbaqala is entitled to offer the user the only cash on delivery payment option.

Product Details

We take care to update the product information in the App regularly. In rare cases, the information may deviate from the details printed on the product packaging. In such an instance, the information on the packaging takes precedence. Because recipes may change anytime, we recommend that you regularly consult the ingredients list and allergy-related information on the packaging.


You agree that Getbaqala does not assume responsibility for any products, content, services, websites, advertisements, offers, or information that is provided by third parties and made available through the Services. If you purchase, use or access any such products, content, services, advertisements, offers, or information through the Services, you agree that you do so at your own risk and that Getbaqala will have no liability based on such purchase, use or access.

You are prohibited from purchasing any material which is for adult consumption and the sale of which to minors is prohibited.

Given the current state of the technology, no guarantee can be given that data communication via the internet will be error-free and/or available at all times. Getbaqala therefore accepts no liability in respect of the constant, uninterrupted availability of the online shop, nor for technical and electronic faults during a sales transaction, in particular for any delay in processing or accepting orders.

Prepaid Mobile Credit

Getbaqala sells mobile phone credit of various providers as such as Batelco, Zain and Viva, STC, Mobily . Mobile phone credit should be activated as soon as possible. The activation code is valid only once. No exchanges or refunds are permitted

Customer Service

Getbaqala Customer Service provides information and personal advice regarding any questions, problems or complaints about Getbaqala services. E-mail: care@getbaqala.com, Missing items must be reported immediately on reception of the Groceries, otherwise Groceries are considered to have been accepted by User as being in perfect condition. Latent defects must be reported to Getbaqala Customer Service immediately after they come to light, although in these cases there are limitations of error acknowledgement.
